Scope and contact
SpaceCraft is developed by Kemal Arda Alkin under Fraktal. This policy describes this website, the iPhone app and the upcoming native Vision Pro viewer. The updates page records iPhone release status. For privacy questions, contact info@fraktal.design.
Camera and room data
With camera permission, the app uses camera images, LiDAR depth and Apple's ARKit and RoomPlan frameworks to capture surfaces and room geometry. Captured content can include anything visible in the space. Processing happens on the iPhone. The upcoming Vision Pro viewer is being developed to review saved projects; it does not capture rooms.
Local projects and source retention
Models, plans, reports and project details are stored in the app's local storage. The iPhone project database does not sync through CloudKit. The optional iCloud document library below is a separate feature. Room-plan capture data is retained for rebuilding plans. When model source retention is enabled, camera keyframes, depth frames and geometry can also be retained for reprocessing. SpaceCraft has no Fraktal account system and does not upload scans to Fraktal for processing.
Optional private iCloud library
The iCloud library is off by default. If you enable it on iPhone, current viewing copies are stored in your private iCloud Drive app container under your Apple Account. These copies can include the project name, dates, notes, thumbnail, model, plan and report. They do not include retained camera or depth sources or saved version history. The upcoming Vision Pro viewer uses the same Apple Account to access these copies in its development build. Apple provides iCloud storage under its policies and your account settings. This does not create a public property link or upload scan content to Fraktal.
Sharing and backups
You choose where exported files and .spacecraft project backups go through the iOS share sheet, including other apps, email or file-storage services. Project backups can include retained capture sources if you select that option. Treat them as copies of the captured space and project data. Those destinations follow their own privacy policies. App files may also be included in iCloud or computer device backups depending on your Apple settings. Local processing does not prevent these user-controlled copies.
Deletion and permissions
Delete a project in the app to remove its local project files. Where retained model source data is available, it can be removed separately while keeping outputs. You can revoke camera access in iOS Settings. Disabling the iCloud library stops publishing but does not remove existing cloud copies. Use Remove iCloud copy on the originating iPhone to remove a published viewing copy. In the Vision Pro development viewer, removing a downloaded or imported copy only removes that local copy. Deleting either app removes its local container, but does not delete copies in iCloud or files you exported, shared or backed up elsewhere.
App analytics and advertising
The current app does not include advertising, third-party tracking or third-party analytics SDKs. Apple's operating system and distribution services may handle diagnostics or account information under Apple's policies and your device settings.
This website and email
The website stores a language preference in your browser's local storage. Hosting infrastructure receives request information, such as IP address and browser details, to deliver the site. There is no advertising or third-party analytics SDK in the site code. Contact and release-update links open your email app. If you send a message, we receive your email address and the content you choose to include, and use them to respond or send the updates you requested. Email us to stop updates or request deletion of that correspondence.
Changes
We update this page when the product's data handling changes. The release version and its App Store privacy information will be checked before publication.
